Jan Rasmussen-McBride - Development & Communications Director
God has called Jan to share her leadership and development expertise with faith based organizations. She brings thirty years of experience in nonprofit leadership, strategic planning, program development, team building management, major gifts, planned giving, grant development, capital campaigns, volunteer recruitment, communications and marketing. Jan retired from St. Patrick Center in June 2015, after serving fifteen years as the associate executive director and chief development officer. Highlights of her time include; building relationships with donors, volunteers and community partners, expanding the agency’s funding from $4 million to $14 million, plus $7+ million in capital fundraising, establishing the Board of Trustees, an active group of leadership volunteers and launching several major events. Jan is an adjunct professor at the University of Missouri St. Louis and serves on the St. Louis University Prison Ministry Board. In 2013 Jan received the Cardinal Rigali Service Award from the Archdioceses of St. Louis and in 2005 she was selected as the year’s “Outstanding Fundraising Executive” by the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Jan is married to Michael McBride, a retired police Lieutenant Detective and Marine Corp veteran. They are members of Calvary Church in St. Charles. They are blessed with two children and four grandchildren.
