For His Glory is on Mission to the city of Uvira, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Africa

We believe that the Lord has called us to minister in Uvira, DR Congo, Africa, August 3 – 13, 2024.

For His Glory’s Africa team is working with the church leaders there to launch a disciple-making movement in their city and region.

According to “Operation World”, the DR Congo is among the 6 poorest nations in the world and is truly a devastated country. Over 5 million people have died in this nation due to the rampant violence.

The city of Uvira, DR Congo shares a boarder with the nation of Burundi, where we launched a Training for Trainers (T4T) disciple-making movement in 2023.

The Uvira Region is plagued with corruption and violence. We believe that the Lord is sending us to this city the DR Congo to help counter the devastation, to help strengthen the churches and to launch a disciple-making movement in Uvira to transform that city and nation for Christ!

Very few ministries, if any venture into Uvira, DR Congo. The Lord is calling For His Glory to launch a movement even greater than the one just across the border in Bujumbura, Burundi. In Bujumbura, we are seeing over 9,000 people per month receiving Christ through T4T.

We expect to see over 150,000 people receive Christ at the festival and tens thousands every month receiving Jesus through the T4T discipleship movement that will be launching in Uvira, DR Congo!
